Hi, there are many reasons for a ferret to bite, she may just want
to play but not know yet that you are more delicate than a fellow
ferret, of she may be scared. You have only had her a short while and
everything is unfamiliar, she has lost her old home and maybe her
friends as well so is confused and frightened.

For the first few days minimise handling as much as possible, when
you let her out let her come out of the cage herself and run of some
of her energy and make sure she is a bit tired and well fed before
you pick her up.

Don't do anything she could interpret as aggression be ultra gentle,
not easy when she3 has hold of you I know. A good sharp NO when she
bites will tell her you don't like it, and lots of praise and gentle
talking when she is being good. Offer her food and treats by hand,
basically anything you can think of to teach her that hands are good
things and not going to hurt her.

Best of all get her a friend, she can use some of her energy playing
with her friend then and will have someone for the rough play ferrets
love without leaving holes in you.

Be patient and consistent and you will soon have a lovely pet.
