Lance I have had the same problem with one of my boys. Same bitting. I have found that he needed to be handed . That's the trick. It is harder for them to bite a closed hand with your thumb tucked in. She will struggle and try to bit your hand but it will be a lot harder. Let her out and play with her in a small space and used your hand like I said and slowly she will stop trying to bite for with your hand like it is, she can not bit easy. Watch your pinkie finger she might get a hole of it. And time and love. Pet her while she sleeps to get her used to your touch. Clark

Hi, I just received a young female ferret about 6 months old and she has bitten me twice and drawn blood and today bit the wife and almost punched through her thumb. Does anyone have a magic answer to stop the biting? Is it because she is so young? At wits end!!Lance
