Subject: [ferrethealth] introduction

Hello, My name is Vickie Lusk I my Husband Mike and I run the Fuzzy
Friends Ferret Rescue we are located in Conklin, Michigan.
Right now we are housing 25 ferrets with a group of eight expected
to arrive sometime today.... I have a question We have a older boy
age to be between 6 and 7. His name is Sabastion he appears healthy
eats great loves his chicken. Which I cook my self. The problem
is there are days that he can't seem to get his hind legs to do what
he wants them to... On those days he is so wobbly in the rear that
when he gets out to play he simply eats his chicken gets a drink
and finds the nearest sleep sack to crawl into. Than there on days
that he runs (wobbly) and plays a little with his cage mates. He
even attempts to climb a little. I know he is getting up in age
but I am worried about him.. There is Charlie, Jay, petey and sab.
these are my babies along with another group of 4 girls I adopted
all of these from a ferret rescue and these are the fuzzy kids that
got into my heart and they are why my husband and I became a rescue
I will be making a vet appointment today. but if anyone has any ideas
of what might be wrong with him. I would be grateful to hear them..
I know this won't be the last fuzzy to get sick or have problems.
So I want to learn as much as I can about the health of these guys.
I look forward to learning much from this group... Thanks for letting
me join.
