I was thinking along the same lines. An ulcer is probably not going to
be that serious so quickly. I am wondering if a mass of some sort
ruptured.

I am a huge fan of Metacam for pain. It seems to work wonders in
ferrets. I would fix a very bland soup and make that his only diet for
a few days.....meat baby food, A/D, and water. Give carafate 20-30
minutes prior to each feeding and Metacan once a day.
