I hope by me saying this I do not offend anyone, but I don't believe
animals think of time the way we do at all. Animals really have no
concept of time. For instance you would never see an animal checking
the clock or calender for the time or date. Animals also have a
higher threshold for pain then we do. They deal with pain
differently. Now I am not saying they do not feel pain, they just
feel it differently then we do and I don't really think they remember
pain as we do. They might even be in pain longer then we think they
are, I mean they might have symptoms before we see them reacting to
the symptoms. I've stepped on one of my fur balls tail before by
mistake and didn't even know it until I looked down and she was
looking up at me. She never made a sound and never tried to bite me.
I like, a lot of people, think of my ferrets, as well as my dogs as my
kids, but I also know they are animals. For example if I leave the
house for 5 minutes or 5 hours my dogs greet me the same way, freaking
out like they haven't see me in years. My girls aka ferrets are the
same way.
Again, I hope I did not offend anyone.

So are
