I took her to an exotic animal vet who said she was in good condition
but wanted to do blood work and take a skin scraping to try to figure
out if the bald spot on her back could be mites or a fungus. The bald
spot is on her lower back and the hair on her tail is slightly
thinned out as well. I'll be trying to attach a picture within the
next day or 2.

[Moderator's Note:

Fur loss above the sacrum is probably the single
most common fur loss pattern with adrenal disease
in ferrets. Why is the vet checking for fungus or
mites?]
