I would be interested in knowing if these outbreaks follow contact
with ferrets shipped ac\from another area.,
It is possible that viri's may lie dormant for a while...
the problem with the past rescues and transports across Us is that
quarantine periods are not long enough to establish whether a carrier
is being moved out...
thus we may see outbreaks of illnesses all over...
just a concerned thought after working on interstate transport issues
for 10 years
