Hi All...Hey, isn't it possible/probable that this is a food-based problem?
Or that somehow the affected ferrets have ingested SOMEthing in common? What
toys have they played with? Where have their food/water dishes been made? What
is the country-of-orgin of the bedding? What litter is used? What laundry det,
cleaning products, h2o is used? What treats have they been allowed? Any of
these may, at least, cause a worsening of the symptoms/outcomes. Just a
thought...well, several, really.
**At least in my household, there is no possiblity that this is a food or
toxin based issue. Absolutely nothing is different between now and six months
ago regarding food, dishes, bedding (made by me), toys, treats, water, etc.
Histopathology is consistent with a virus, and likely ECE - right now we're
waiting for confirmation.**
