Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Advise please - ferret having seizures
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Thank you for your advise. Unfortunately my vet won't do glucose
checks, I have been through this with another ferret which I suspect
of Insulomina. The good news is that the diarrohea is not tarry or
black. Also the vet feels that there is no ulceration involved but
does suspect brain tumour. Thank you for the links above, I will get
reading, and try speaking to my vet again.

Thank you again,

Sharon

[Moderator's Note:
Could some UK members see if there can be some help
provided beyond vet list links given to get this person to
a vet who knows ferrets or is willing to read about their
health problems, please. Someone may know of a good
vet in the region, for instance.]
