When I started feeding my lot raw meat they would not eat a whole
chicken wing so I minced wings for them, I minced each one just
before it was fed. Mincing increases the surface area and also
spreads any surface bacteria throughout the meat so increases the
risk of infection. leaving the mincing until the last minute reduces
the risk as far as possible.

Meat should either be fed raw or if it is cooked cooked thoroughly.
If it is partially cooked the bacteria will not be killed and the
warmth will make the bacteria numbers increase massively.

Now my business will tackle a whole wing or two which I hope is
healthier for them, also makes sure they get the benefit of nice
clean teeth.
