I've seen mast cell tumors in a number of mine, they're actually quite common.
The photo linked to in my previous post was of my ferret Connor. His
mast cell tumor was bothersome (bled often, caused itching, watery eyes, runny
nose) and so needed removal but I have had others that had them clear
with no treatment. In some they did recur every so often but, again,
each time cleared without treatment. I've had only one with malignant
mast cell tumors (he had 3, all malignant), and that one was loaded with cancer
pretty much everywhere.
