**Ayup. My personal belief is that every ferret owner ought to know how to
give fluids and have them on hand. Some of my clients haven't been convinced
of that yet, but we're working on them.
I do know of some vets who will not teach owners how to give fluids, will not
dispense them or the needed supplies - I truly do not understand that.**
Based on my personal experience; When I administer sub-q fluids, I
just imagine how much comfort I'm bringing to my ferret, as I knew
myself in a very critical time of my life.
