Hello Bethany & Oscar, hey just a quick note. My ferret had picked up a flea awhile back from one of my dogs...had same issue couldn't catch it, and it was making Karma (ferret) and myself nuts! I called the vet and she said simple "dawn" dishliquid would kill the fleas and not hurt my animals. I use it on my dogs all summer long and never have a flea issue, not even with my outside dogs. I used it on my ferret and after her bath i just pulled the flea from hair and it was definitely dead. Hope this helps.
