Subject: [ferrethealth] nitrofurazone ointment

Our vet gave us Nitrofurazone Antibiotic Ointment that works very well on urine/fecal burns. It not only is an antibiotic but it also forms a protective barrier on the skin so moisture doesn't seep through onto the skin. I've used it with good results for those nasty rashes senior ferrets sometimes get 'down there' and on their back legs and feet.
