"Aquaphor" Healing Ointment from Eucerin is a miracle ointment! Its
petrolatum,a faster healing ointment( I've had it heal rashes&other over
night for me) it soothes and protects,while still allowing air to get
through. Its labeled: advanced healing for dry,cracked or irritated
skin. Also worked immediately on my son's diaper rash. I simply cannot
say enough about this ointment! Good Luck with whatever you use,as I
hope it comforts your precious fuzzy immediately. Also,just my opinion,
I'd be careful to not use too many different ointments all too soon
because of reaction possibilities,the creams could mix,and also if a
reaction did occur,it may be confusing as to which cream actually caused
it.

Petrolatum is the same white
petroleum jelly found sold by
itself and in fur ball preparations.

If diarrhea is present it might not
be the best choice since it is a laxative.
