Subject: [ferrethealth] Deslorelin and Lupron

Trinny and others who are familiar with deslorelin and Lupron, our older girl with advanced adrenal disease, is going for her first Deslorelin implant on Monday. She had her last 1.0 mg Lupron Depot shot (4-month type) about 7 weeks ago. Is there any chance of an adverse reaction, given that there will still be Lupron in her system?
Also, where on the ferret's body is the best place for the Deslorelin implant? I am assuming that my vet will know this, but this is the first one that he's done, so I'd like to have that knowledge going into the appointment.
