Subject: [ferrethealth] Ivermectin Applications - Fleas?

For a Vet or others with the needed information,
I have a great appreciation for how toxic and lethal Ivermectin is and can be. I moderate the Shelter/Sanctuary Forum and there is a discussion about the specific parasites that can be treated with Ivermectin, both as an oral, injected and topical application.
The following link was supplied, which could lead one to believe that Ivermectin is effective in the treatment of fleas. I personally view it as tremendously misleading, and have written this specific company with my concerns.

The manufacturer's information has been presented, which specifically excludes it's effectivity on fleas, however, this [academic] argument continues.
I come to you, my FHL vets and friends, requesting you offer us the final word on the question, "Does Ivermectin kill fleas, yes or no. If yes, what is the application and dose."
