Subject: [ferrethealth] slow heart from insulinoma?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My 7 year old female is taking prednisone and started proglycem yesterday
for insulinoma. (Had the Rx, just got it filled) The other day she had a
"zoning" episode and I noticed her heart rate seemed very slow, I did not
have a second hand clock nearby to count, but it was very slow. She came
around with corn syrup, Is slow heart a sign of insulinoma attack?
Thanks, Debbie

[Time for a prompt vet appt, even if you have to
pay for an emergency appt, including an EKG
and blood glucose check to be safest.
