I have been prescribed prednisolone for a health condition myself.
I have to take 6 tablets daily for 7 days (6 x 5mg) and am told to
take them all together once each day. How does this compare to the ferret advice that daily doses should preferably be given at 8 hr intervals as the Prednisone/prednisolone is eliminated from the ferrets system comparatively quickly.
I am not concerned for my own health as I know this is a common human prescription which works well. I am concerned that we giving correct advice to ferret owners.
Does this advice only pertain to prednisone or prednisolone, to both or just to ferrets.

Dogs have owners, ferrets have staff.
