Subject: [ferrethealth] Bruce is going down hill.......Any ideas???

Hello all, We got a call from Bruce's vet this morning telling us that his status had changed from sat~sun. He was fighting the feeding on friday and sat, and sunday he didnt fight at all. He also went to the bathroom where he was laying instead of getting up to go to the litter box. The vet says he is not in a coma, just not responding like he should be. He gave him a cortison shot, hopeing this would help him. The vet also said that a MRI and CT scan might shed some light on Bruce's situation, but if it turned out to be a brain tumor, there is nothing we can do. I can't accept that as the final answer. Anyone have any ideas or has heard of any thing similar happening to another ferret? (also he no longer has the watery eyes and sneezing, so that issue is linked to our home)
