It sounds like what you are seeing may be mast cell tumors.=C2=A0 They seem=
to appear quickly, burst and then go away.=C2=A0 Most mast cells are usual=
ly harmless in ferrets but can cause discomfort from itching and will bleed=
and be sore if scratched open.=C2=A0 Do your best to clean any blood away =
from the spot with warm soapy water.=C2=A0 A little bit of Cortisone cream =
used for bug bites will help alleviate the itching and will allow the spot =
to heal.=C2=A0 I have also heard of administering children's Benedryl orall=
y to reduce itching but I=C2=A0do not do this.=C2=A0 I have a 4-year-old ma=
le=C2=A0with the same condition and have sucessfully treated with just topi=
cal Cortisone.=C2=A0 Talk to your vet before giving your ferret any human m=
edications!
=C2=A0
If you suspect Adrenal Disease, a trip to your vet is warranted anyway.=C2=
