Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Giardia&Coccidia Symptoms
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I had posted this message about half an hour before I had posted the
second one, which was ferret specific for Giardia and Coccidia Symptoms.
Had I located the ferret specific link first, I'd have never posted the
second one, as my goal was simply to help educate another poster who had
asked what the symptoms of Giardia and Coccidia were. I just wanted to
make it clear, as per the moderators message, that my intentions were to
inform others of Giardia&Coccidia symptoms only, and NOT to offer or
agree with any treatment advice offered in the information/link. I
apologize for this and will be more careful when posting in the future.
I agree, as always, check with your treating vet before administering
treatment. I had thought that this wouldn't have been an issue because
the ferret specific link was posted last night after I had sent this
link in first. The post of this link, to my surprise was posted today (24
hours later). Again, I apologize for any trouble or misunderstanding
that this may have caused. Best Wishes and Good Health to All the little
fuzzies!

[Moderator's Note:

It's not a problem. We all learn here.

We moderators have extremely busy lives ourselves:
families, work, our own ferrets, our own ferret emergencies
(like the one which landed us in an emergency 24 hr
facility yesterday), friends, charity work, etc. so posts don't
always appear immediately.]
