Subject: [ferrethealth] Question about Lupron

I was wondering if anyone here is using the generic form of Lupron. I alway=
s order the=A0
1-=A0=A0Month depot=A0 by Abbott Laboratories. They (not by Abbott)=A0have =
a generic with the same ingredients but it is $100 cheaper, which is a big =
difference. Think that it would be ok to use, anybody have any info on this=
? Isn't it funny,=A0 I don't hesitate to use generics for myself but for th=
e ferrets I do.

[ IMPORTANT Moderator's note:
The ONLY Lupron to use on ferrets
safely is the DEPOT version and I
don't think that form comes in a
generic at this time.
Using the standard 24 hour Lupron
has the potential to actually
worsen a ferret's adrenal disease.
