On looking further I do not find the human one
any longer so perhaps it was not found to be
contagious over time.

There is the Devil's Facial Tumor that hits
Tasmanian Devils but i don't know if that one
has a species specific viral cause or what.

Basically, you do not have to worry about the
vast majority of of malignancies (also all) since
those simply are not contagious.
