Yes, the company is based in India, though they have manufacturing companies worldwide, including the US. The company adheres to international manufacturing standards and they do hold approvals from the USFDA.
My vet and I both looked into the company prior to purchasing. We found nothing to indicate this was not a reputable company.
The (Canadian) pharmacy I use also states that all generics they supply are rigorously government tested and approved for chemical and medicinal equivalence to their brand name counterparts.
As for Lupride, I have indeed been seeing good results. In fact, in my opinion, better that what I was seeing with the US manufactured brand name Lupron.
I would not be put off by the fact that Lupride is not US manufactured. Fact is, many of the medications commonly used, particularly generic medications, are not US manufactured, though few may realize this as I don't believe it's something most look into.
