After a couple of days of him not showing any more symptoms, I decided to switch his Flutamide from Dr X's to Dr Y's and he hasn't vomitted since. Coincidence? Any explanation?

Flutamide side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, unusual fatigue, loss of appetite, "flu-like" symptoms, yellow skin or eyes, itching, clay-colored stools, or dark urine.
What you're seeing may be side effects, not necessarily related to where the flutamide was manufactured. These symptoms can be early signs of liver damage, which flutamide can cause. You might consider having your vet run some bloodwork to check liver function.
