i like the ferret tone and some vets use lixatone
also you might want to check for a compounding pharmacy in your ares (the price does go up for compounding) that particular pharmacy was out of ferret tone so he used cod liver oil. He loved it..
also if you have someone to scruff him while you give the meds it is much easier. another thought is.. Chicken baby food.. when he gets seriously sick , i finley grind up some ferret kibble and mix it into a teaspoon of the baby food and let him eat it and if he is too sick he will lick it from my finger. so the meds might work that way.
