Flutamide is something that you must continue once the male ferret
has advanced hyper adrenal issues.
The minute you stop, the prostate enlarges and the renal issues and
chance of sepsis begins anew due to inability to urinate and bladder
infections.
.
We used to live this battle over & over until we started with
melatonin implants and in some cases lupron monthly injections in
combination with melatonin implants.

Though Flutamide did provide relief for the ferrets we used it with,
we see far better results form the new therapy regimin with lupron &
melatonin. You might want to discuss those treatments with your vet.
