I have been using the generic lupron depot for over a year and dispense it in insulin syringes, 29 and 30 gauge needles and have had no problem with that at all.
I think those who had a problem maybe had not added some air before freezing, the small amount that stays in the hub and needle might block it, always suck up a little air into the syringe before freezing to avoid that and remember it settles in the syringe over time and to shake the thawed lupron well to remix it then expel the excess air before injecting.
