Subject: [ferrethealth] Need Slippery Elm Help
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

OK...finally got in my slippery elm for Indy's nausea (he has insulinoma).

I found a couple of references online for powdered dosage. One said to mix
1/4 t. with 15.0 cc water, then let sit about fifteen minutes, and shake
well. Then give 2.0 cc.

I did this, but it didn't seem to help his nausea. Should I mix it a little
stronger, perhaps? Or does it take a few doses to work, or what? He's
still grinding his teeth as he has been for ages. His poops are okay -- he
hasn't even had much diarrhea lately, and he eats fine (both soup and
kibble).

Can I get some guidance, please?

TIA
