Some individuals bleed more readily at different locations
that others and some clot very, very readily. We currently
have one like that though we have had one who was worse.
The one who was worse would actually have problems with
her veterinary blood draws clotting before they could be
prepared so they had to have more than one person work
on her blood when they did draws because there was not
time for the one drawing blood to do the next steps after
also caring for needs associated with withdrawing the needle.
I kid you not.
Steve and I are going to try the tail tip again on the current
one we have who is not that extremely bad but does clot
very, very easily. We'll use your fleshed out description of
your tail technique. Last time we tried her tail it raised no
blood at all. This one gives best from the SIDES of her foot
pads so far.
