Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the replies on and off list. I decided to forego the Ivermectin for now, not only due to a possible risk but also because there isn't anything at this point that makes me think she needs it. I think it was more of a can't hurt and might help approach. I got the injections for one of my other ferrets several years ago when her eosinophils were elevated and they didn't seem to make a difference but changing her diet did. I searched the FML archives and read that a vet has seen them increase from a reaction to a spider bite. I just don't understand why they would've gone from 0 to 6 in two weeks time. There hasn't been any change in diet and she eats turkey, venison and lamb ferret food by her own choosing. Another cbc will be done in approximately 2 weeks so we'll see where they are then. I got the Panacur today but am still hesitant about giving it, but will give another round of the antibiotics for 10 days this time. Also, lungworm has been found in Big Horn Sheep
in the northern part of the state we live in, but that isn't near us.

Thanks again.
