Subject: [ferrethealth] domesticated species with H1N1 so far
To: fhl <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
So far:
people (the usual ones and so far one of the two animals that appears
to be spreading it through respiratory routes like coughing and
sneezing)
pigs (the other animal besides humans found spreading it but only to
those in close contact with the respiratory droplets they excrete alive)
turkeys (but since there is an avian influenza component ***other
birds*** are thought to be likely to be susceptible)
To a much lesser extent:
ferrets
cats
and now dogs
