Subject: [ferrethealth] gingivitis and reishi mushroom

I have been looking for the post where gingivitis and reishi mushrooms were mentioned, with no luck
My ferret has swollen gums that are red I understand the reishi mushrooms can help, can anyone please tell me where they get them from,the internet has so many choices I dont know which ones are safe for ferrets
Of course if anyone has any other information regarding gingivitis it would be appreciated

Remember that this is only hypothetical on the
poster's part, there are many other possible
causes, and that oral disease can indicate other
possible types of disease truly so needs to be
seen by the treating vet. I am sure that posters
will tell you about conditions that can damage
oral health such as kidney disease, and that the
tendencies toward cardiac disease and gingivitis
have been found to have a genetic marker in
common. Obviously, there can be other causes,
especially dental ones they will tell you about, too.
If you do not have a vet you can start looking
in the FHL's list of recommended vets:

messages with addresses to more. For that one way
to begin is with a phrase in quotation marks such as
