Subject: [ferrethealth] calcium mass on spin
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Ok here we go
I have a question about my babie boy .About 6 weeks ago my boy Zeekie had hind end weekness so I took him tothe vets and he had his blood tested and found out he has Insulnomia, blood count was about 32 after fasting ...
well we also noticed he hada lump on his spin right in the middle of it , Doc thought it might be arthritis, said the Preniselone would help , so anyways he is on 2.5 cc of pred 2 times a day ,
never started walking again , so I took himback to the vets for an exray on his back for the lump to see what thishard mass was , it turns out it is a Calcium mass that is causing himto not use his hind end , but he still moves his back legs, he is alsogonna be 8 yrs old in March of 2010 , so surgery is not an option .
WhatI am wondering is I have been doing a lot of research and have foundsome things that say they will disolve bone spurs and calcium massesbut I dont think these meds are safe for animals let alone a 2.5 pndfert babie,
Is there anything out there that I can give to himthat will dissolve this mass and help him to walk again and bouncearound like he should be?,
he is a very alert and head strong babie andis doing very well , and I hope to have him around a longgggggggggggggtime yet, so any help with him will be very very appreciated on his andmy part.
I was reading that amino acid and antioxidents will helpbut I just not sure what to do at this point or where to get thesethings or even how much to give ?

[Amino Acids are the building blocks of proteins and there are
multiple types of them.
