Subject: [ferrethealth] Neuter Surgery Question..

Monday my 7 month old whole hob is scheduled to be Neutered.. His surgery is supposed to be around 9:30am. My question is, I was told by the receptionist to stop feeding him at 6pm Sunday nite and no water after midnight. I think this is way off for a ferret. Can someone tell me the appropriate times to remove food and water from my baby boy?? I don't think 6pm the previous day before surgery is correct.
I live in Ontario Canada.
