Subject: [ferrethealth] Heartworm disease-ProHeart?

I recently acquired a female ferret and I have no past history on her. Due to a sudden onset of coughing, I took her in to my vet and after some diagnostics, it was found that she has heartworm disease.
Before ProHeart was recalled, there were some positive results in using it to treat for heartworms. Since it is back on the market again, has anyone used it recently?
