Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] Will a ferret starve to death if they do not like their food???
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi Anita,

I tried this with my mink (they are in the same family) and she didnt touch the new food for almost 3 days. I got merciful, because she was literally
becoming insane, begging for food, so I fed her. Still, I dare to believe she would have denied the new food til death, because she is extremely
stubborn and very greedy (eating almost nonstop).
It's just a supposition, but I personally incline to believe that surviving instinct is more powerful than food preferences. Eventually, they have to eat :)

good day,

R.
