It could also be that, in spite of drinking water the ferret is
dehydrated. As Sukie so skillfully explains, when they are dehydrated
the olfactory senses shut down and they don't recognize food. Some sub-q
fluids can do wonders. Have the vet do some and then show you how to do
it yourself at home. Supplies are fairly low cost and it is easy to do.
