i have seen that frank blood, betty. it was in the stool, not the urine.
the little guy (dmk fella) had lots of issues right from the start when he arrived here. treated him for infection and that seemed to help for a bit and then the blood in the stool started up. all kinds of tests done and nothing showed as being 'off' (like a high white cell count) nor did anything show on xray or ultra sound - so, we assumed ibd and treated for it (pred, carafate and diet changes) and things seemed to get better.
a few months later he went anemic and crashed and was gone the next day. necropsy showed lymphoma - mainly in the intestines. it had also spread out to various organs.
