Can ferrets react to the Suprelorin implant, especially as quick as Kobi?
Or are Kobi and also Piper just coincidences?

**I would say that Piper being diagnosed with lymphoma certainly is
coincidental, and I suspect that Kobi's low sugar also is - at least to the
deslorelin. However, I would consider the possibility of the anesthetic having
triggered the low sugar (I do not anesthetize ferrets when giving the
implant, by the way, and the majority of them give a small flinch, then keep
licking at their treat). It is, always, possible for any animal to have an
allergic reaction to anything, but I have not seen any issues with the
deslorelin implants and would consider that to be very far down the list. Could
happen, I suppose, but very rare IMO.

I have implanted a number of ferrets with insulinoma - have never seen an
issue from the deslorelin causing low sugar.
