Subject: [ferrethealth] Need advice please, ferret with a sore

Hi Gang,
I have a ferret that has a growth comming up on top of her foot, she is one of
my paralized girls and her name is Angel. I noticed the last few days shes been
trying to chew on it and i been putting vasaline on it to keep it from itching,
it started out like a sore and she kept scratching it with her teeth and
sometimes it bleeds i have wraped it and put nurasporin on it and i took her to
the vet this afternoon and the dr thinks its a boil of some kind, i was
wondering what i could do to have her stop bothering it cause i have tryed
everything and thught maybe you guys might have some suggestions for me to be
able to help her, i even used the apple bitter spray and i hate useing that on
her cause i feel thats abuse,, so any advise would help thanks Susan
