Everyone replied to this that it was something wrong with the eye or behind it (scratched cornea, tumor, etc). My thought was if it could be something akin to a small stroke in people which parallizes one side of the face.

Though that may or may not be the case here, does anyone know if ferrets are susceptible to brain damage of that sort?

[Ferrets can have thromboses that travel to the
brain secondary to certain problems, such as
heart disease or kidney disease. We've had two
of our own through the decades who had that
happen. Those are thrown clots.

Definite strokes have not been documented
though sometimes people have used the term
loosely for any brain accident. See these for
