Subject: [ferrethealth] 1 year old with no energy

i have a year and 1/2 old male. he weighs 1.10# and has no energy. it has been about 5 months since i have seen him play, with the exception of picking up a toy, hides it and then goes to bed.
we have taken blood work - everything normal. x-rays and ultrasound show nothing wrong with the heart. had adrenal surgery 3 months ago and last month we opened him up again to see if he had a partial blockage....nothing. has been on pred but shows no sign of making things better. being tappered off now. he won't eat soup anymore but he eats lots of kibble and drinks water as normal.
my vet is out of ideas so i thought i would write here to see if anyone has had a ferret like this and what was done. he said he will do more research but i thought i would come here where there are lots of ferret people that have seen lots of things.
