Hi Jeff,
The Deslorelin takes a couple of months in some ferrets to ameliorate symptoms of adrenal disease, while others respond sooner. He may need intervention sooner. Discuss with your vet and see what he/she recommends.
He may also have an UTI and may require antibiotics as well.
I would think having Melatonin on board wouldn't hurt.
