In adrenal ferrets, marking can be seen without any prostate involvement or other urinary issues (infection, stones, etc). I've seen it in several of mine. I have not used Deslorelin with mine but do use lupron, and lupron has always solved the problem (within 24 hours in some, within days in others). Be sure to have a urinalysis run before starting any treatment though, just to be sure there are no other issues.
