My own vision is pretty lousy. Is that swelling of the
membranes or of the eyes?

If membranes then lymphoma and infection are among
the things to consider.

If of the eyes then among the things to consider are
infection and glaucoma. If it were just one eye then
retrobulbar tumor would also be a possibility, though
some tumors can happen bilaterally.

A poster and the moderator (at bottom of that post)
have told you of two URLs with ferret vet lists that
should help.
