Two thoughts and a suggestion.
1. If the removed adrenal gland was not biopsied you may be dealing with metastasis.
2. Juvenile lymphoma is also a possibility.
Keep in mind that cancers may not show up on testing until late stage.
Barring those possibilities, a suggestion: Try giving lupron. I've never had a ferret go symptom free following adrenal surgery, additional treatment (ie; lupron) was always needed. Based on my experiences, the symptoms you describe can be attributed to adrenal issues. Lupron may solve the problem.
