How old is she, do you know? Can't tell is there is conjunctiva overgrowth was damage to the cornea. Occassional you can find an opthomologist that has seen ferrets and might be willing to take a quick look, ask you vet to call them and run it by them. Our optho people her are pretty good at giving us advice to help and they might be willing to peek at your picture if your vet sends it.
Worth a try. Hard to say from this picture, I usu anesthesize the eye and try to move things around to see if I can isolate where the lesion is, cornea,conjuctiva, or something else totally.
