Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret has black spot on toe

It's covering 1/4 of one of her toes. Looks like a mole, except it's black. This just was discovered a few minutes ago when feeding her.
I have tried to find pictures of other ferret growths/marks like it and failed. I'm assuming it's skin cancer, and she has had a small black mark on her muzzle for a while now, but it never grew bigger.
At age 7 I'm not sure what to do. I will be calling the vet in a few hours when they open to talk to them and see what they suggest.
It never ends with fuzzies does it!
